We know it’s been awhile since we’ve posted here on The Tasteful Life so we wanted to give you a quick update.

Now that September is in full swing we wanted to review what we did over the Summer and figure out what’s next.
We experimented with Zucchini Flowers, Cherry Clafoutis, a tasty Insalata Caprese with Prosciutto & Arugula, as well as eggs and spinach and a way to spice up potatoes + this amazing Strawberry Tiramisu!
In July I was lucky to visit New York and take a food photography and styling workshop from Bea of La Tartine Gourmande at the famous Sunday Suppers. I met some very talented ladies that are doing wonderful things and living out their passions.
Once back in Houston we packed up and relocated out of the city. There were many factors that drove this but the big one came down to schools for my children. So I’ve taken all of August and a bit of September to settle in. It’s been a nice and peaceful transition.
With that said I’ve been thinking a lot about The Tasteful Life and decided to ask you for your input. I’ve put together a little survey to help me make some decisions.
For taking the survey you will be entered into a drawing for my favorite apron. I wear this apron practically everyday in my kitchen and it looks beautiful hanging on the wall awaiting another adventure in cuisine.
